Pretty Ugly Plants is a small family run business in Dumfries and Galloway. We specialise in carnivorous, companion plants and orchids.

​We grow a selection of carnivorous plants from around the world. In particular Sarracenia, The North American Pitcher Plant. Some species are grown by our customers as hardy perennials all over Scotland.
To compliment our carnivorous plants, we grow and source companion plants.
These include shrubs, grasses, perennials and orchids from around the world. They are chosen for their geographical or similar cultural needs, some being bog or marsh plants whilst others are epiphitic and tropical.
